Silent Nights, Northern Lights

​

Eau Claire musicians/singers Derick Black and Sarah Kate Beck will join writer Ken Szymanski for “Silent Nights, Northern Lights,” on Thursday, December 20th, at 7:00 at the Galaudet Gallery (618 S. Farwell St. Eau Claire). Black will play acoustic guitar and sing Americana-style holiday songs. Beck will sing soaring versions of traditional holiday classics. Szymanski will read nonfiction stories that are a ccessible and related to the season. The performances of all three are interwoven thematically, to make an album-length, cohesive performance exploring and celebrating Christmas—even its complications. Put your busy night on pause for 40 minutes to listen, reflect, and recharge for the upcoming holidays.
